The story begins with Ajay (sivaji) who is a student in the engineering college. His life takes a turn when he comes across the beautiful Shruthi (shruthi) who hails from a wealthy family. It is love at first sight for him and since then he begins to build his own dreams. However, what he doesn't know is that Shruthi is already in love with another person. His name is Kumar but then, Shruthi has never seen him. They are telephone friends and even Shruthi's father (nasser) who is aware of this relationship has no qualms about it. Why does he accept this unusual relationship? What happens to Ajay's sincere love? All this forms the rest of the story.
