Story of Tamil movie Madarasapattinam
The first scene of Madarasapattinam starts up with the story of recent London life of a 85 years old lady Amy. This old lady suffers from the blood clot that Heroin of Movie Madarasapattinam has in her brain. Madarasapattinam heroin is about to undergo an operation in a weeks time. But then the chance for her survival is suspected to be less even after the surgery. In this situation the old lady comes to Madarasapattinam along with her grand daughter.At this point of time, this old lady has a photo of the Parithi (Arya) one who is 60 years old and want to go Madarasapattinam to meet him. This is where the film turns to Chennai which was previously known as Madarasapattinam. The story of the Tamilmovie Madarasapattinam now roles back to the period of 1945 which is before the independence. Amy the heroin of Tamilmovie Madarasapattinam is the daughter of governor and she comes to Madras. On her first day in Madras, she is about to see Parithi one who is a local tamil boy. With one or two incidents which let Amy to meet Parithi she starts liking him. Parithi is a dhobi and he is basically a kushthi fighter. Hero of the Tamilmovie Madarasapattinam lives and works in the bank of the Kuvam river.
At this time, the governer plans to convert the bank of the kuvam river to a golf course. When he make this, the Parithi's residential place and the work area gets destroyed. In the mean while, the Governor compels his daughter Amy to marry Robert Ellis, the police commissioner. Heroin of Tamilmovie Madarasapattinam gets engaged to that man without her wish, but Amy and Parithi fall in love by this time. Now India gets the Independence and the governor wants to go back to England with his daughter. But Amy refuses to go with her father and wants to live the rest of her life with Parithi. The climax falls here and the rest of the story is suspense for you to enjoy it in the theatre.
