A tremedous success, this movie was an allround hit with masses, classes and musically too.KaaliCharan(Megastar) is a small town rowdy who helps his community with his earnings. He is good at heart and everybody in
his town love him.
He works for Kota whose rival is Gollapudi.
Once when he goes to warn gollapudi he meets Radha, Gollapudi’s daughter and they both fall in love. when they decide to marry with or without permission from him, he gets Kaali killed in an accident and kaali goes to Naraka Lokam.There he challenges Yama that he was brought wrongly and catches chitragupta red handedly for cheating.
In a fit to correct the mistake Yama and Chitragupta leave to earth to find the body and return to take him with them to put his back to life.
But unfortunately his body is burnt and Kaali refuses to enter another body. So they try to convince him to enter into one of his identical persons (Chiru’s role reprising from AdaviDonga and Vijetha) he refuses due to some warnings by vichitragupta(velu). Then they show him another body of chinna babu (chiru again) in a village and tell him it is his last option.
Chiru learns about the past of Chinna babu, who is a soft spoken and non-confrontational guy who is often ill-treated by his cousin brother and uncle and aunt. Vijayasanthi holds his love interest.
They plan to kill him on his 25th birthday as they have to hand over him his property. Thats where Kaali’s soul is put into his body and he plays black and blue with them. however, he doesnt remember his past as Kaali (unless he meets someone or something related to it as said by yama) once he sees kota’s photo in a newspaper and remembers his other life and returns to city.
The rest of the plot is woven on how he balances the two lifes and two girl friends till the very last test by Yama to prove his credibility in his love and willing to save all the people he loves.This movie has all the navarasas which elevate chiru’s character asthe godfather to the needy and a lovable person. Director Raviraja Pinisetty is pushed into the top slot with this movie.
